GET SET MIDDLE SCHOOL CLINIC
  • Dedicated to athletes of middle school age who want to learn how to play volleyball. Players will be grouped with players from their own town and they will be given instruction in all positions and skills that will allow them to learn the game. Qualified Coaches will teach mechanics and technique that is based on motor learning and will allow athletes to learn faster. Every day the players will get both blocked training of a skill and then be taught Spike Ball so they can reinforce the technique in game-like situations. The first 3 days, players will be taught how to Forearm pass, Attack, Serve, and Set. The game of Spikeball will reinforce the spiking needed in the game.

All players will be under the direct supervision of experienced and well-rounded coaches from the area. Every night will consist of team building, skills and drills as well as break out sessions that are skill specific. Every night will end with competitive play against other teams. Back again this summer, will be the middle school component which is designed to introduce, teach and enhance skills of the younger player to build confidence and a passion for the game.
