2026 SPECIAL SESSION: CLUB TRYOUT PREP

This week helps athletes sharpen skills, improve consistency, and compete with confidence heading into tryouts.

2026 MGA Summer Clinic Series:

MGA’s 7-Week Summer Clinic Series is designed for athletes ages 10–18 who want more than just reps — they want real development. Every session combines high-repetition skill training, volleyball IQ development, competitive wash drills, and individual feedback so athletes leave better each day — not just tired.

These programs are ideal for:

  • Beginners building strong fundamentals
  • Club athletes preparing for higher-level play
  • High school players seeking next-level development
  • Athletes preparing for school or club tryouts
  • Players serious about improving volleyball IQ

All Sessions:

  • Mon–Thurs | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Location: Starland, Hanover 
  • Cost: $500 per week

Build the complete foundation every athlete needs to succeed.

Dates: July 6 – July 9 Ages 11-14 or those, starting or in grades 6-8

  • Defensive movement and reading hitters
  • Introduction to volleyball IQ concepts
  • Competitive game-play scenarios

    Dates: July 13 – July 16

    Train the way the game actually feels — unpredictable, fast, and in the company of athletes you haven't played with before. Small groups aren't a compromise on private instruction. They're closer to the truth of volleyball.

    Athletes will train:

    Private lessons build technique. Small group training builds volleyball players.

    • Real-time decision making in live, game-like situations
    • Every rep is different—no scripted drill patterns
    • Adapt to unfamiliar teammates, serves, and attacking styles
    • Learn to read opponents and anticipate the play
    • Competitive wash drills that simulate pressure moments
    • Peer competition that pushes athletes to elevate their game
    • Develop confidence, communication, and court awareness
    • Prepare for the unpredictable nature of tournament play

    Because volleyball isn't played one-on-one with a coach—it's played in the chaos of competition.

Session 4: High Performance Evaluation Training

This week provides athletes with specific, measurable feedback using MGA’s proprietary evaluation system modeled after elite development standards. Participation is limited to ensure quality coaching.

  • IQ Lab sessions (read → decide → execute training)
